I did not know that in Roman empire they had products designed in the empire, that were produced in China with parts manufactured in Germany with raw materials mined in Africa. There are two states in which global superpowers could coexists - a global supply chain or at war.

It's literally nothing like the collapse of the Roman Empire. It's not even like the fall of the republic into an empire. Rome's politicians had armies that were loyal to them and not the state, so any political dispute, after Sulla and Marius had their wars, were dealt with using violence. That is HUGELY different. Imagine if Trump had an army and Biden had an army, and every time there's an election they fight it out in brutal civil wars? THAT would be like Rome.
